Self portrait at 15 1/2 weeks pregnant...

I am a pig. I feel hungry ALL THE TIME since day one of my pregnancy. Seriously, even when I had my bouts of morning sickness...I was sometimes nauseated and hungry at the same time...which is a really weird combo. I go from feeling "normal" to "starving" in one breath. There is no progression...of feeling kinda hungry...to a little more hungry...to a little more...and so on. If for whatever reason I can't eat right away...I get nasty. Really nasty. In a bad mood instantly. I should learn to carry some granola bars in my purse...to avoid freaking out at some innocent bystander...see post below...ha ha ha. Seriously though, I have gained 10 pounds so far...and I swear it's ALL IN MY FACE!!! Ick. I LOVE being pregnant, and that my tummy has a baby-bump...but I think my face is getting bigger and bigger every meal. This is a serious issue for me. I am buying a pregnancy-yoga video today. I know I can't target weight loss in my chubby cheeks...but I am not going down without a fight!!!

P.S. Thanks for lying to me Kaili..and telling me that child birth is bearable...you know I will bombard you with crazy questions, right?

My darling little sister;
You are beautiful, face and all! Yes you do have a tendancy to rub your tummy way too much; like you want everyone to know that there is a baby inside and not because you are a piggy... Oh my goodness this is going to be a LONG 9 Months for Rob and all those around you...

Hi Joyce, like Susan said, you do look beautiful. But I do think you tend to exagerate a little about your symptoms. Like rubbing the side of your belly all the time, you know what I'm talking about. But I'm glad that you are enjoying the pregnancy. By the way, I think you forgot the white pants that Susan gave you. Did you get a chance to return that beige top at Tristan yet? Call me tomorrow at Susan's to tell me about your morning appt.

Thanks for safe returned.
Always keep peaceful mind,
listen to beautifaul music, not wild Rock.

I love you.

I Rub my belly too much??? Yes I know. Yesterday Rob and I went shopping and he went into the dressing room to try something on, so since I was all alone, I took the liberty to check myself out in the three-way mirror...twisting and turning so I could see my belly in all sorts of angles...I got busted...I must have looked so full of myself!

I would have loved to have been the someone noticing you checking your belly out in the mirror, haha!
I didn't lie, but it's differnt for every woman. Although it was painful, I was shocked at how well nature sets it up so amazingly, how contractions build and build then melts away. I was also shocked at how well I handled it.
Also the goal is seeing your Baby and I'm sure you feel the same way, you would do anything for that. It was an amazing experience, and we are so in love with our sweety.
I also feel my face has sorta ballooned out. But at the rate this little dude nurses, Robin jokes that I will look like a little starving rack of bones soon. Keep up the belly rubs, Baby's LOVE it!
