Sorry we had to evict you just as the weather turned freezing cold. But on the bright side, research suggested we poison you...so at least you got a second chance.
The Kitty House came with a surprise pet. A squirrel who took up residence in our roof. Then the bold little critter found his way into the house. A couple of neighbours reported seeing him sitting on the inside of our living room window. Just hanging around, looking out.
By fluke, Rob and a friend were at the house when Squirelly came home, and they managed to scare him out the front door...then Rob quickly sealed up the hole where the squirrel had access to.
Sadly, as an animal lover, I felt bad for the little guy. Rob said he came by a few days in a row...trying to find a way back in. I just kept imagining all his stored nuts up there in our roof, and the squirrel having to start gathering his food for winter all over again. In the cold. With no home. I know he's just a rat with a fancy tail...but...still tugs at my heartstrings.
I may have to accidently drop a package of Planters Peanuts in the yard.

We had a squirrel issue on our balcony in Orlando I wrote about. Yeah, it's sad, but I have heard they can wreak havoc in a home.
Where's the pic's of Kitty Palace? When's move in date?
A squirrel chewed through my neighbour's vinyl window frame (yes, you read right...not wood...VINYL!! Twice too!!). So, although they may look cute, they can do a lot of damage if they want inside. They ended up trapping and deporting him to some other unsuspecting neighbourhood. LOL
at this rate, move in date is...never?!?
seriously...we're hoping before Christmas. i think it may be a tad optimistic.
