happy halloween!!!

Hudson's first Halloween!!! We had a blast dressing him up as the cutest Ducky we've ever laid eyes on. He had fun going to a few neighbour's houses, and he got to see all (we estimate 140!) the many Trick or Treaters coming to our door. I was hoping we would have some leftover chocolate and chips this year...but no such luck...our loot was wiped out.

Gotta go...Hudson's in bed...and Rob and I rented a scary movie to watch...

our camera is broken. so this may be the last pictures i post for a while. we were borrowing rob's mom's camera and just returned it to her. i went to "black's photography" to see if they fix digital cameras...and apparently there is only ONE place in ottawa that does it on site. i have to go check it out.

an autumn walk

We took a nice long walk in the little town of Arnprior. The trees were glowing in shades of red, orange, and yellow. It was some good ol' fashioned quality family time. Things have been a little stressful in our household lately...so it was nice to just relax and enjoy each other.

I bought some beautiful sunflowers to brighten up my living room (part of my home "staging" plan). I thought I would take some funky and artsy pictures of Hudson with them.





he tolerated it for a little while before telling me my idea sucked.

it's the last sunday before our house has to be ready "on call" for showings...and there is sooooo much to clean and organize...but hudson doesn't want mama to do anything except follow him around and make sure he doesn't crack his head open or slam his fingers in something...

chores will have to wait until papa comes home...

For Sale!

it's official. i just registered our humble little home for sale with a local online company. they should be getting back to us tomorrow with the final details. it's crazy since we knew when we bought this place that it was only a "starter" home...but i'm still really sad to put it up for sale. it's cozy, cute...and feels like mine mine mine!!!

once upon a time there lived a beautiful prince. his name was Hudson. one cool rainy autumn day he wanted to take a nice afternoon nap. he searched around his palace for the perfect spot.

ummm...his crib? no...it's too hard.
ummm...the king and queen's bed? no...it's too soft.

then he stumbled upon...
the court jester's (aka Bosco's) bed.

and it was just right.
