All I Need to Know about Life I Learned from My Dog

Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.
Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure ecstasy.
When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.
When it's in your best interest, practice obedience.
Let others know when they've invaded your territory.
Take naps and stretch before rising.
Run, romp and play daily.
Eat with gusto and enthusiasm.
Be loyal.
Never pretend to be something you're not.
If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.
When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by and nuzzle them gently.
Thrive on attention and let people touch you.
Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.
On hot days, drink lots of water and lay under a shady tree.
When you're happy, dance around and wag your entire body.
No matter how often you're scolded, don't buy into the guilt thing and pout...run right back and make friends.
Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.

If it's not wet and sloppy, it's not a real kiss

Hi Joyce!!!!

Tell my mom that everything you learned was from Bosco.
Maybe then she'll let me get a dog this summer.

Love the pictures of Bosco and nice belly!

You should put more pictures of Bosco and your belly.

Love and miss you!
Romy

Oh brother. I can't wait until the day that you say....Bosco...Bosco who? And all you will be talking about is your baby. Oh and did Bosco teach you to spill and break the water bowl yet? Just kidding. Bosco is cute.

What a cute dog. I have two of my own so I know what you mean, although one is in trouble right now for his penchant to rip my blankets up.

I've also updated the end of that story if you are interested.

Well written and what an adorable puppy! I can't own a dog cause Jeff is allergic, so I will admire your puppy from afar.

Dear Anonymous,

I'm thinking about putting up a Blog about airplanes and flying and maybe some stuff about exercising. I also like motorcycles, rugby, and indoor rock climbing was fun. I might rant a bit about some things that happen at work that tick me off, and I might also put up some quotes from famous people that I can relate to. I'm hoping that won't make me a bad father-to-be?! Here is a good quote that might be appropriate in this instance, "Get a life".
P.S. Damn my dog is cute!

Respectfully Yours,
Rob (Joyce's husband)

Damn you are creative Joyce. I can see this list as a cut little coffee table book. Why don't you do that. Or even better yet when you open the doggy day care/bakery/home design shop the three of us here in Vancouver can help you spray paint this on people's walls. You know, with the usual home decor stuff like fire hydrants, leashes nailed to the walls, fake trees and stuff. It would be nice!
