slave driver nesting mama...

The nursery decorating has begun! Bebe's grandpa was put to work yesterday, wallpapering the nursey! I am so happy with the result...the wallpaper was exactly what I was expecting from the online picture (no surprises)...and my dad said it was good quality (whew!). My poor dad is probably sore today (and his knees may be bruised)...but it means a lot to me that he helped decorate. Now the room has sentimental value!!!

I decided that we didn't need to paint the top half of the walls the sage-green that I originally wanted, the plaid looks okay with the existing color...for now. I just asked Rob to take me to Home Depot to buy the chair-rail...yes I'm bossing people around...but it's for the baby, so I figure it's allowed. I'll post pictures when that's complete. It's getting there...and that makes me so happy...

That is so sweet that your Dad/Babe's Grandpa come over to help out. I bet he really enjoyed it, even though his knees may be sore and bruised.
So have you read anything about how your going to feed your Baby? People always spend all this time getting their nursery ready, and no time thinking about how they are going to feed their sweetie. I suggest you get a list of phone numbers ready now for breastfeeding help (for example, La Leche League in your area, a lactation consultant, any breastfeeding clinics...) if you are needing it in the first little bit. It is so nice and so important to have support and help. :) Sorry, I went off on a little BF rant, but you know me, I'm young!!!

It looks great Joyce. Phew the wallpaper doesn't look pink.

And wait a second....dad never came and put up wallpaper when I had my babies!!!!! I'm so jealous and extremely happy for you that dad came over and did that. So so sweet.

Wow Grandpa - Great job!!
You should sign your name somewhere on the wall with the date for Bebe to see!

Also, don't worry about BF - I'll help you, little Sister!

It looks good, Joycie, I can't believe your due date is around the corner...I'm so excited to find out what your "little bugger" is going to be. I agree with Susan, don't fret about BF now, it's callenging and great, but, you could be like my dumb body and never produce a drop of milk and then it's out of your control anyway....miss you.
